What do I need to do to prepare for working with Visual Story Media?

Do I have to live in your city?
No, fortunately there are many ways we can help you get your digital files in order, no matter where you're located.

How much does it cost?
Every family is unique and has different goals for their project. Our pricing is guided by each families needs and goals.

I don’t know quite what I want, is that OK?
Absolutely, we will go over our different packages and create a package that meets your needs.

What is the process?
Every family is different and we tailor each package to fit our client's needs. We start off with understanding your goals and budget. Then we work on a plan that will achieve your goals.

What are some services customers might want?
Some customers have wanted to digitize all their photos so their family will know which picture is Grandma Robinson and then make photo books for each of their children. Some customers want all photos, digital images and media on a database so it can be shared. Some customers are going through divorce and want all pictures duplicated so each partner can have a copy.

Do you do all your own work?
We scan photos, negatives and slides and transfer VHS and Mini DVs in house. We work with a local partner to transfer 8mm film.

How much do I need to be involved?
Our first meeting will be the longest. We will set goals and assess your collection. Before our first meeting we will send you homework so we can be ready to get started.
