​I’m Kimberly Melton, a Certified Photo Manager specializing in photo organizing, photo scanning, and old media digitization. Through Visual Story Media, I help families manage large photo collections, convert outdated media like VHS tapes and slides, and create organized digital photo libraries that are backed up, searchable, and easy to share with family.

Why I Started Visual Story Media

My passion for family history began in fourth grade when I discovered genealogy and worked with my Grandma Nellie to learn about my family's stories. That early fascination with preserving stories eventually grew into Visual Story Media, where I help families and businesses organize, digitize, restore, and preserve their photos and media collections.

Since founding Visual Story Media in 2020, I have been based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I help families and businesses locally and throughout the world organize, digitize, restore, and preserve their photo and media collections.

As a Certified Photo Manager and Privacy Advocate through The Photo Managers, I understand that clients are trusting me with their most precious memories. My goal is to make the process simple, secure, and enjoyable while ensuring every photo and story remains accessible for years to come.
